| Wedding Resources Planning an out-of-state wedding can be very stressful (unless you have a mother like mine - thanks Mom). I found the following links helpful. www.dcwed.com An absolute lifesaver! Anyone planning a wedding in the DC metro area ahould take full advantage of this site. There are several links to local vendors and a discussion board. I found my caterer, photographer, and baker using this site. www.theknot.com The mother of all wedding web sites, I have found the planning tools to be the most useful, There is an in-depth budget calculator that won't let you forget a thing. www.ultimatewedding.com This site has all kinds of interesting tidbits, but the most fun is looking at other couples websites. Medicine www.med.upenn.edu The web site for the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine/Health Center. The best medical school/center in the country (so they keep telling us). www.webcom.com/~wooming/residenc.html Residency information, list of residency web sites, NRMP, USMLE. www.aamc.org Site for the Association of American Medical Colleges. A great resource for all those aspiring doctors out there. Other Interests www.frommers.com Provides tips about traveling on a limited budget. It gives information about current deals (international and domestic) and how to get the most for your money. Very informative. www.espn.com Self-explanatory. www.google.com The best search engine I've ever used. |
