| ��� I would like to introduce myself to you.�� I was born and grew up in York, where I graduated from York High.�� I attended Lock Haven University where I majored in Early Childhood Education.�� I did my student teaching in and around Philadelphia, in preschool, kindergarten, and second grade settings.�� After that, I spent a year teaching kindergarten in a private day care center and then two years substitute teaching.�� I began teaching in�the South Eastern School District in 1979.�� I taught kindergarten at Stewartstown for one year and then for 15 more years here at Delta.�� I have been teaching first grade here at Delta-Peach Bottom since 1995. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ��� I love teaching and enjoy learning about new approaches to teaching.� The field of education is ever changing and so I continue to take courses to keep up with advances in education.� My graduate level course work includes classes on computers, science, language arts, mathematics, multiple intelligences, classroom management and many other topics.� I currently hold a Master's Degree Equivalency Certificate. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ��� I currently live near Red Lion with my husband, Don and our pond of fish and frogs.� My interests outside of school include gardening, crafts, scrapbooking, music, church activities, travel, and computers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
