Nicaragua...

When you get a chance, visit Colonial Granada.  It's an interesting place to visit.  They say that this is one of the oldest cities in the Americas.  Although most of it was destroyed in the fire that William Walker set to the city.

It is only a hour mini van ride into the town and it costs 12 córdobas it's about 92 cents (American).  So you won't break the bank.

A must see : the Convent, they have a wonderful little museum inside.  A treasure indeed.

Just 3 of the many churches that you can visit while in Nicaragua.  They are very European in style.  Some churches need drastic work but then that's the appeal.

On our way furniture shopping in Los Pueblos Blancos, we passed by many of these well arranged and quite funky fruit stands!

The owners were relaxing in a hammock when we took this shot.
