Let's see, where do I begin?!
I was born in Verdun, Quebec in 1970 ... can you believe that I'm already
in my thirties!!! Scary eh? Oups, the Canadian in me!
My Mom is French-Canadian and my Dad is Hungarian-Canadian!
I am the 2nd oldest of four, so, I'm sort of the middle child.. we won't go there! : ) We were raised in Pierrefond, just outside of Montreal where we lived until November of 1979! My Dad was transferred to Toronto. We weren't too happy with the news, but we all packed up and went. It was quite an adventure.
Starting a new school, YUCK! And in a different language. We knew how to speak English perfectly because we spoke it at home but I had nooo idea how to write it! (to this day, I still have problems) It was quite an eye opener, so when the rest of the students were in French class, I was brushing up on my English!
My family was pretty busy with extra-curricular activities. Kept us off the streets and we also made really good friends. During grade school I was playing soccer, taking dancing lessons, swimming and just beginning baton twirling. When I reached high school, I still did the above as well as played flag football, became a baton teacher, joined the drum corps and had a part-time job! To this day, I'm wondering how I graduated. It actually taught us time management. My poor parents, they must have been even crazier than us, trying to keep things straight!

After high school I decided to go to College which was not the norm of the other students, they were all going to University! I was a bit upset at some of the replies I got after telling them where I was going, but forgot about it very shortly after I started school.
I had lots of fun in Hospitality School. It really didn't feel like school though. I was doing something that I was totally interested in. Three years flew by. And the friends that I made there are still in my hearts, just like the very few that keep in touch when we met at St-Brendan's in '79!
After graduating I was hired at Club Med as a Restaurant Manager. It was a lot of work but it was well worth it. I was stationed in Eleuthera - Bahamas and then, Providencial - Turks & Caicos (Where I met Mauro!).
That's when I realized that I wanted to travel, actually, that's not true, it was when I went on a school trip to Paris, France when I was 16! From then on I was hooked. |

| This is a lovely shot of Mauro & I at work .. it was his birthday! I don't think I would usually wear a chapeaux, quite like that on any normal day! |

Since then I have worked in Grand Cayman - Cayman Islands and San José - Costa
Rica and we are now in Managua, Nicaragua.
That's about all, if anything else comes to mind I'll add it later.
