     A mixed bag

Time had flown by.  Here I was in my third and final year.

This provided me with many mixed feelings, after all student life was coming to an end, never again would I have this amount of friends on my doorstep willing to pop round for a brew , never again would it be normal for you to get pissed in full knowledge that you had to get up the next morning, never again would a full week consist of 5 hours of lectures.  No soon all of this would end.

Having said all of this the third year brought stress, a dissertation, and the fact that everything you did counted towards your final mark.  There was no room for complacency.

This meant that you had to find the balance between work and play and I think I managed this quite successfully.

Despite of all the sleepless nights writing and researching essays, the revision sessions in the library for some 10 hours, the confusion and the anger, I still regard this as my favourite year at University.  Certainly it was the most satisfying.

I had found happiness in a relationship, had met a whole bunch of new people, had a very successful stint on the radio station, had some wicked nights out and organised a fitting finale for our University careers.
