King, Jr. by Joanne Mattern. Martin Luther King, Jr. was
born in Atlanta, Georgia on Janury 15, 1929 and was called
M.L. by his family. He always loved to set down and listen
to his father preach at Ebenezer Baptist Church. M.L. was
one of the best basketball, baseball, and football players
in his neighborhood. One day M.L.'s friends' mothers said to
hime that he could not play with her son any more because he
was colored. I would recommend this book my
my best friends because they will know that it didn't matter
to Martin Luther King, Jr. if you were black or
white.
