Rosa Parks

Title: Rosa Parks - Fight for Freedon
Author: Keigh Brandt
Reviewer: Mitchell

I read Rosa Parks - Fight for Freedom by Keith Brandt. I would recommend this book to people who want to learn one way of how blacks got freedom.

Rosa Parks learned to read before she was even in school. When Rosa's mom was sick, she stopped school to take care of her. Rosa Parks was married when she was finishing school. She was tired after work one day and sat in the front of a bus where no black person was allowed unless the bus wasn't full. That made people angry so a meeting was held in 1955 that said that no black should ride on the buses on Monday. Rosa Parks was part of the NAACP. If you want to know what happened, read the book Rosa Parks - Fight for Freedom.
