Pictured here is an example similar to how our house will look when it is complete.  The floor plan we have chosen is a "Camden" plan, elevation 6, 3BR/2BA 1430 sq. ft. & 2 car garage home. It will be built by Windsor-Aughtry Company, a local builder to the Greenville, SC area.  Our house will be built in the Pheasant Ridge subdivision.  See the neighborhood from our house by clicking here.

The picture above resembles a basic similarity to our house.  The double windows on the right will be three instead, and that portion of the house will have a brick front.  Our house will have a crawlspace (instead of built on slab).  The outside colors will be "Cameo" for the siding (a sort of off-white) and green shutters and front door.

When it is finished, our house will comfortably shelter both of us, our two cats, and all the junk we have to squeeze into our current apartment!

October 21st 1999
    The lot has been staked off and soon the foundation will be started.  We're trying to be patient, but that apartment sure is getting small!

October 28th 1999
    It's started!  They brought a backhoe in to dig the foundation, and the footings have been poured.  Bricks have been brought in to build the crawlspace which should be started soon.  Click here to see pictures!

    The crawlspace looks about complete - most of the bricks have been laid and we're starting to see the outline of the house.  See the pictures!

    We've got a floor now!  The crawlspace is now covered and they've started on the walls.  Check it out here.

    It's amazing how fast things can move.  Most of our walls are up now!  Take a look at the pictures!

    We've almost got a roof!  Just before the weekend the trusses arrived, and now most of them have been framed with the rest of the house.  Take a look!
