Welcome to the Star Trek half of the site! As you can tell by the text above, my favorite Star Trek show is the Next Generation. I grew up watching that show. Believe it or not, but I learned a lot of my vocabulary as a kid from TNG. Words like "omnipotence" and "condescending" forced me to read the dictionary as I watched the show. That's an example of how cerebral Trek is.
And because Star Trek is so cerebral, we "trekkies" or "trekkers" have been constantly teased since Star Trek premiered in the 60's. Some of it has been funny (ex. the crossing guard character played wonderfully by former Kid in the Hall Kevin McDonald in the movie National Lampoon's Senior Trip! I died laughing when we saw what his basment looked like, and his blow up doll Uhurah! lmao! Also, Saturday Night Live has shown really funny sketches. In my opinion, John Belushi did a better Captain Kirk than Shatner ever will.) whereas others have been cruel (Even though at times he is funny, Dennis Miller has said some evil things about trekkies on his show.) I know that I have been teased for knowing the difference between a warp nacelle and a warp core.
Anyway, back to the website. I know that right now, this part doesn't come close to rivaling the Star Wars half.... yet! It's just that I am currently involved in a SW sim, and the majority of the SW part is dedicated to that sim. As for the ST part, you can tell that I am trying to add pictures and sounds.... right now there aren't too many! I discovered not to long ago that I had accidentally uploaded some pictures and other things twice, so I have been busy cleaning out my website. Right now, the highlights of this page are my opinions. Most have to deal with TNG or the Paramount screw-up Voyager.
Anyway, please give me a little time on this one! It shall get better soon! I never expected website-creating to be so time consuming!
