Now, I know that there are some die-hard TNG fans out there that think that Wesley Crusher, son of Jack Crusher and the wonderfully Scottish (the Scots RULE!!) Doctor Beverly Howard Crusher, is nothing more than a wimp-faced Mama's boy who somehow manages to save the Enterprise from predicaments.

Even though during the first season his character was childish, Wesley's character matured through the years. His character WAS lame during the first year. I shudder when I hear his whining voice in episodes like "Hide and Q" and "Encounter at Farpoint" and so on...
But in the second season, this character matured, REALLY matured!! One of my favorite episodes featuring him is "The Game." Wasn't that a freaky episode?
While we ARE on the subject of maturing......................
Remember "Hide and Q"? Remember when Riker turned Wesley into a grown man? How come our dear Wesley didn't turn out like THAT??? hahahahaha :o)
Anyway, Wesley Crusher is not that bad. Could be worse....
