MUMMY'S COOKING

Mummy, please do stop that cooking!
I can tell you without looking
It's going to be a waste,
Though I don't even know the taste.
So, Mummy, please do stop that cooking!

I've got a lot of work to do,
But after smelling your horrid stew,
My dislike for it is slowly growing
And on my face the strain is showing.
So, Mummy, please do stop that cooking!

Forget the stew, I now smell pie.
I shall be vomiting by and by.
Is this what we're having tonight?
My future doesn't seem too bright.
So, Mummy, do please stop that cooking!

Taking of food, what about cake?
It's easy to serve and easy to bake.
For another dish what about custard?
It's a million times better
Than your rice with mustard.

All the horrid things you make
Help me develop a whopping headache
It sure keeps my head at stake
And if I could, I'd jump in a lake.
So, Mummy, please do stop that cooking!

MANGO SMILES?

The tiger is the King of Jungles
I think you all know
But do you know the King of Fruits?
Well that, my friends, is the MANGO!
It's the sweetest of the sweetest
And its taste is marvelous
If you eat it once you'll come to know
How much it is delicious.
Some mangoes are yellow
While others are green
And if you want to eat them
You'll have to first make them clean.
Mangoes bring a smile to many people's faces
And while they eat them with their hands
The juice flows down their dress
After telling you all this
I think you must know
That though I have said so many things --
I simply hate mangoes!

MONEY

Workers earn it
Spendthrifts burn it
Bankers lend it
Women spend it
Forgers fake it
Taxes take it
Dying leave it
Heirs receive it
Thrifties save it
Misers crave it
Robbers seize it
Rich increase it
Gamblers lose it
I could use it
The thing - MONEY!

MY CUPBOARD

I have a little cupboard
with a tiny little key
and I want the cupboard full
with lots of toys for me

And I like to have my dresses
kept clean and clear
I must take care of my little cupboard
with happiness and cheer
