The students of the Illiteracy Elimination programme are encouraged to adopt an old person of the area. They visit the old people and provide them with much need moral support and look after their other basic needs. SHM provides the medicines . It involves an expenditure of around Rs. 6000 a month. Out of this Rs. 3000 is provided by 30 girls associated with SHM who contribute Rs. 100 each. |
