It all began here, just as it did for most of the top DJs past & present: from Chris Ho to Bernard Lim to ermm ...me. Lots of experiments, growth & memories were made here. Every day was enriching & fascinating. Looking back, the 5 years seemed like yesterday. |

| R for lots of things but the pet project for the programme was inspired by the music i was fascinated with then: remakes cover versions, hits revisited & re-released retrospect every body likes the hedonistic 70s & romantic 80s R.P.M stands for revolutions per minute refering to records: new pop & dance releeases were reviewed & sampled Request Unlimited dedications & live phone-ins added fun to the show. I enjoyed interacting with listeners ... somehow that brought about many inspirations to my radio dj career. I loved talking to listeners ... yakkadiyak ..:::1994 1994 was the highlight of my career in radio broadcasting as a DJ. And it was a possibly the BEST year of my life ... my work took me to places. I had the pleasure to be in Manchester to meet Sean McQuire, E.Y.C. & was at a after smash hits roadshow press party. Highlight of the trip was the interview with East 17 in their hotel suite, arranged by Polygram Records, Singapore. Among all the interviews in my 5 years at Rediffusion, best one was a private interview with PJ & Duncan up in their suite. Click next for the full stories. |
