'So i sneaked up the suite right after the conference to have tea with .... ... PJ and Duncan for the first time. What a laugh it was! The success of their single 'Eternal Love' has brought them over to Asia and little did we anticipate this would be the start of a lovely DJ - popstar friendship. ' Rated R Show, 1995

25 May 1995 Press Conference The press conference was full house, the best I've ever attended There were the familiar people from Straits Times, Lime, Teens ... TCS, radio, fans and excitable winners who will be having tea with the Geordie celebrities. I was there to cover the event for Rediffusion then. ANd I shall have the pleasure of having Anthony McPatlin and Declan Donelly all to myself once i sneak up their suite ... uh lala! Suite n CHeeks I saw PJ n Duncan performed at Smash Hits Poll Winners Award 1994 and by far the funniest pop lads around especially Declan. The lads were in their plaid shirts and plonked right in the middle of the sofa for an interview.Interview went so well, Ant was laughing and my sides were about to burst! lol Declan had such cherubic cheeks, I was tempted to reach out and pinch them! Well Declan didn't think it was a good idea. 'Get ay ... whey you mad woman! Leave me cheeks ayyy... lone!' Declan cried in his most adorable Geordie accent. We exchanged walkman trends and enjoyed some sodas and chat some more about a project which I swore to secrecy ... watch out for the cult of Ant and Dec, I was told.

1996 Smash Hits Press Party, London London Records Richard Evans and his colleague Tracey had invited me to join them at the Smash Hits party after the award. I was to go with East 17 but they didn't turn up so didn't stay for long but I caught a glimpse of Ant and Dec. 'Oh no, it's ROsie DJ from Singerrr...poore. Leave me cheeks aye..loony woman!' chirps Declan in jest 1997 The Cult of Ant n Dec promo tour My fave superstar Geordies, Ant and Dec were back in town and this time I was working in Perfect 10. Meeting the chums for the 3rd time, we felt like old friends. We posed for pictures, make funky monkey faces, sang silly ditties and also got them to add a touch of grafitti on my DJ locker. Too bad I couldn't take the locker with me when i left the radio station but memories of ANt and Dec lives on ... like a plague! lol especially having to live with these dastardly looking photo. Hahhahaa..... Bless em!

The cult of Ant and Dec continued disguised as TV producers and presenters. They had a few years success with SM:TV (1998 - 2001) together with Cat Deeley and CD:UK on ITV. They were also caught in the act hosting SMash Hits Awards and the Brit Awards. Since then, Ant and Dec have been known to be dabbling in many other mad projects like a footie single, 'On The Ball' for England's anthem in the World Cup 2002 mayhem in Korea/Japan and a cartoon show called 'Engie Bengie' on ITV. . They have also won some awards. There's no stopping these chums! No idea wot they'll do next.
