The New Shiva Temple Complex
KAILASA MANDAPAM:
A new temple, named Kailasa Mandapam is under construction
next to the existing Sri Venkateswara Temple. This encloses the shrines already in
existance (shown in table below) and adds new shires for the deities in the table below.
The temple is almost nearing completion.

There are five existing shrines and the following are being

Some of the striking features of the new temple are:
| ARCHITECTURE: Compatible with the Chola style of the
existing temple. The shrine for Sri Ayyappan will reflect the famous original at Sabari
Malai, Kerala. Raja Gopuram directly in front of the Siva shrine will be 31 feet in
height.

| STYLE: Same as that of the existing Maha Gopuram.

| FEATURES: When completed, the Kailasa Mandapam will add
an additional 8500 square feet of covered space. In addition to the shrines, the Mandapam
will also house an office annex.
On the right side of the western entrance to the temple. There will be a kitchenette and
additional bathrooms. The facility will have modern heating, lighting and air conditioning
systems. Sunlight sky domes will add plenty of natural light.

| TEMPLE ARCHITECT: Architect Sri Ravi Varma who designed
the existing temple is also in charge of the new phase of construction.
