Different types of
skins
I believe you know that there are different types of skins, this is why some
people wash their faces every 5 minutes but they are still oily while others
have to put cream on all the time. In fact, there are basically 4 types of
skins of our faces: neutral skin, oily skin, dry skin and mix skin.
Neutral Skin
Neutral skin is defined to be the best skin among the four, because you
won't need to worry about taking care of it that much as if you have other
types of skin. However, people who have this kind of skin are quite rare, so
if you have it, you are very lucky.
Usually if you have neutral skin, the excretion of your sebaceous gland and
sweat gland is regulate and normal, your skin is soft, smooth and delicate,
it gets humid easily. You can rarely find speckles or pimples on your faces
since it has dense pore. The excretion of sebaceous gland is not great
therefore your skin will be a little oily when it's summer but a little dry
when it's winter.
Oily Skin
Oily skin is, no doubt, quite difficult to take care of. Oil of your
face can make you look dim and tired, also makes people think it's not clean.
If you leave it like this and pay no attention, you will easily get pimples
but it you have strong treatment, it will stimulate the excretion of the
sebaceous gland which makes your face become more oily. So you have to be
very careful when you take care of it.
It's called oily skin because there is always oil on your face, your skin is
a little coarse as well. The pore on your face tends to be big which will
always collect the dirt and this cause pimples especially on places such as
your nose and forehead. Mostly you don't have crumples, but the color of
your face can be dim and yellow. And there might be a problem for you when
you have make-up on because it always cast off.
Dry Skin
Many people try to put a lot of cream or lotion when they have dry skin,
however this can never change the "dry" situation of the skin and it makes
you feel uncomfortable with full of oil on your face. There are basically
two reasons that cause the dry skin, one is the lack of natural axunge; the
other is lack of water. Therefore it is important to moist your skin too
during the process of treatment.
There are also many problems if you have dry skin, your cheeks, forehead and
chin are likely to be tense all the time. It can get itchy and inflammation
easily, your skin sometimes come off because of scrathing. You can also find
very thin crumples on your face, and in case of make-up, I'm afraid that it
is hard for you to put them on.
Mixed Skin
Mixed skin is the most common skin actually, however, people seems to get
confused with this type of skin and misunderstand it's characteristic. Since
it has the characteristics of two different skins(oily and dry), so most of
the time when one characteristic is a little more obvious, people will
mistake it with the other two skins. Therefore you have to be very careful
analyzing your skin type.
You are probably be familiar with the word "T-zone"(forehead and nose which
combines a "T"), in mixed skin, T-zone is the major problem since it is the
place that has a great excretion of axunge. On the contrary, your two cheeks
and eyes are quite dry. You are very likely to have pimples between the T-zone,
which is the problem that most girls worry about.
