CATALYST SPEECH AND DEBATE CLUB invites all, 12 to 18 years of age to consider participating in speech and debate.  The club is affiliated with the Nationanl Christian Forensics and Communication Association (NCFCA).  In this world, where text messaging and sound clips rule the thought process of many, it is important that teens learn how to present their ideas in a structured format and learn to defend their ideas in a systematic approach using the debate process.  NCFCA is dedicated to teaching teens how to speak and think logically.

To learn more about speech and debate nationally, please contact
NCFCA or Communicators for Christ.  To learn more about the Catalyst Speech and Debate Club please contact Martha Blanchard (260-6136) or Suanne Samelson (279-4027).

Important dates:

August 5th - Catalyst Speech and Debate Club information meeting

August 23rd - "How to Debate" Introduction Seminar
