Food Resources - Angel Food Ministries Angel Food Ministries is a "non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States." You can order as many boxes of food as you wish from them for $25 per box. Quite a few items come frozen, so you'll need freezer space. Each month they also offer specials that you can also order. Each box has a $48-$73 value. There are no forms to fill out or any income qualifications. You can find out about them at their web site: angelfoodministries.com. You can click on "Host Sites" to find the closest delivery location. Contact that host site to find out how they handle ordering and pick-up procedures. Find out ordering procedures in advance because sometimes you have to leave a message and wait for them to call back. On the web site, there is a toll-free number of their headquarters that you can call if you have any questions as well as the numbers for the host sites. Resource Index |
