There are a lot of gyms in Z�rich and most of the are very good so remember that this is just a choice. MagS has given a comment on why he has selcted these current fitness studios. Aerobics: Yes, with good reputation and lots of guest instructors and lots of classes
Gym: Dual Axis machines and free weights, well equipped
Dance Classes: All kinds of them; classic ballet, jazz, street and more
Pool: No
Sauna: Yes one per locker room
Comment: Well established gym and Aerobic studio with fashionable clientele. Not so fresh as the newly opened competitors. My home gym.

Stockerhof, Stockerstrasse

Aerobics: Yes, good and rather many classes
Gym: Dual Axis machines and free weights, well equipped
Dance Classes: No
Pool: Yes, large massage pool and relaxing area
Sauna: Yes, several of different types. Perfect for Scandinavians is the cold bath tub. Very nice Saunaland.
Comment: Fresh, light, good classes and well equipped gym. Even if you are enrolled at another gym you may buy a one day admission (about 20SFr) and stay all day. The attached Cafe offers OK food from Migros who owns this gym.

What the heck! - I rather go skiing, take me direct to the Ski Resorts Guide!

Oh no! - It is raining!

Why not try a Box Class at one of the recommended Fitness Studios?

Active Fitness, five locations in ZH

Aerobics: Yes, if you want to you can travel around a between the five locations and you will find everything all the time at anytime of the day! Great!
Gym: Only machines (Type nautilus) No free weights
Dance Classes: Not really
Pool: No
Sauna: Yes one per locker room
Comment: The only gym chain in Zurich. You can enroll at only one of the locations or buy a card that is valid for all of them. Prices are good here but you will have to live with the fact that it is all rather basic except for a few of the aerobics instructors. surprisingly fresh and clean for being a "massmarket" gym!
