Affordable Italian food—that’s what this place is all about. Friuli Trattoria is one of those restaurants people keep coming back for more.

THE PLACE
Friuli is one of the first restaurants a person would come across with while strolling along the long stretch of Maginhawa Street. It is not that hard to miss since their sign is big enough, except maybe during weekends when there are a lot of cars parked along the driveway and the logo sometimes becomes obscured. Nevertheless, it is a fairly popular place so it wouldn’t be hard to find—just ask anyone in the streets and they’ll be able to point you to where it is.

The interiors of the place are not really that impressive. It’s nothing fancy, actually, just a small two-floored joint with bare walls and checkered tables. And because the place is really popular, it can get really crowded during peak hours. Parking space also would be a problem.

WHAT’S UNIQUE
However, whatever inconvenience the space or the ambiance may cause, the food can surely make up for that. In Friuli Trattoria, customers can have delicious Italian food for less. Casual dates are recommended here, since their menu isn’t pricey and their single servings can satisfy two hungry people. Group dates can work here, too, but prepare to move on a tight space.Anyway, this place isn’t about hanging out for hours but about good food at a very reasonable price.
