L:8.5 -- The Wind Fish's Egg
Ok, as anyone who stepped in the Wind Fish's Egg knows, there's an infinite number of screens. It's not actually a dungeon, it's a maze. If you go to the library in Mabe Village and read the book 'Dark Secrets and Mysteries of Koholint' using the Magnifying Lens, you can see the correct path you must take in the winding halls of the Wind Fish's Egg. For those of you who don't want t0 go all the way back to the Library, here are the all the possible paths (R being right, L being left, and U being up)--

Once you've done the correct pattern, you will be on a screen with a hole that you can jump down. Take a final breath--the final boss is down there!!! When you're ready (by the way, you need Magic Powder and arrows, so go back if you don't have them!), jump down and you'll be in a room with no exit. A message will appear and you'll meet the Shadow Nightmares--the bosses who are ruling the Island of Koholint's monsters. They will taunt you and the battle will begin.

SHADOW 1--BLOB
This is where you need the Powder. Sprinkle Powder on the Blob when he hops at you. He may dissolve into the ground. When he does, go to the tile in the middle of the room--he never pops back up on there so you'll be safe. After a few hits, it'll turn into...
SHADOW 2--AGAHNIM
O_o Not the boss from Link to the Past!!! Well, he's easy and won't shoot lightning this time. All he does is go around the room and shoot power. If the shot is round, hit it with your sword to reflect it back to him. If it's weirdly shaped, jump because it splits into 4 small balls that fly out across the room. After a few hits it'll turn into...
SHADOW 3--MOLDORM
This one's not hard, but it may take some life from you because it has the most HP. I usually stand in a corner with my shield up and wait for it to come to me. When it does, slash at the flashing part of its tail. If you land a hit, it'll speed up temporarily. After a bunch of hits it'll turn into...
SHADOW 4--GANON
AAAAHHHH!!!! GANON!!!! And he's not hard either!!! Equip your Pegasus Boots and Sword and dash into him a few times. When he swings his axe, fire bats will fly out. When you see one starting to form, stop hitting him and equip Roc's Feather. Dodge the bats like you did with the Genie of L:2's fireballs. After they're all gone, he'll throw his axe at you. Jump over the middle and watch otu for where he moves. When he stops, dash into him again and repeat the process. After a few hits he'll turn into...
SHADOW 5--GLOWORM
Geez...this isn't even fit to be a fianl boss! One hit from the Hookshot or Magic Rod will kill it. For those who want more out of it, try using bombs. He'll (easily) turn into...
SHADOW 6--DEATHL
Ok, now to test out your skills. All you cheaters will use the Boomerang for an easy defeat, 1-2 hits in the eye from it will kill it. BUT!!! If you'd like to EARN your ending, do it the proper way by jumping its arms and shooting the eye with arrows when it opens. After about 20 hits it'll die. The arms speed up as you get more hits in, so watch out! After you defeat it, it'll blow up and a staircase will appear...
