The MAJOR Glitch- Yep, you heard me right. This code will allow you to beat the game with no instruments, no level keys, no ocarina, and no trading items. This is by far my best code, so use it well. Also know that you'll be needing bombs early. Rake up enough rupees for the Shovel and buy them to get the bombs. Well, here goes.
Okay, from the start, get your sword and shield and go to the mushroom cave. Do the code to get the Power Bracelet L:2 early. Also, it would help to do the code for defeating the L:7 boss easy for another heart. Proceed to the Rooster's Grave when you're satisfied.
From the screen with the rooster's bones on it, warp down. Go down a screen and push the block closest to the left wall down. Go into the the left door. Defeat the Black Enemies and go down the stairs. Go through the cave and get the Roc's Feather from the chest 2 screens up from the exit of the cave. Save and Quit and you should be at the beginning of the Rooster's Grave. If not, don't worry. Just beat Level 1 normally if that happens(don't get the instrument!). Exit the dungeon normally and you should walk right out of the bars!
If you think you need more hearts, warp down a screen from the screen with the rooster's bones and go down. Warp right and go through the wall. Jump with the Roc's Feather and you'll leap off the wall, with luck, onto the platform with the Moldorm. Notice instead of saying 'Buzz! Buzz! Outzider!' he says, "You've got the compass! Now you can...etc." Oh, well. You still get a heart for defeating him.
If you are at the Rooster's Grave, then go to the screen with the rooster's bones. Warp down and warp down again when you are on the wall. This may be a bit hard to pull off (you mustn't see a blur before the map pops up), but it can be done.Go down a screen (if you are stuck in the locked door, reset) and you are in the room where you get the map in level 1. Just go left and down. Now you are in a room in level 2. Go right and down. You should be in a room with 2 Shyguys. Ignore them and warp right. Go right through the wall to the next screen.
You'll be at the beginning of the Level. Go up and warp back down quickly so the eye doesn't suck you in. Go down and instead of exiting, You'll be in the room with the Pegasus Boots! Grab them and Save and Quit. You should be at the Rooster's Grave's entrance, like before. If you think you'll be needing hearts for the final boss, go left and defeat the dodongos. Go into the warpy thing and you'll be transported back to the beginning of the level. Beat it normally (don't get the instrument!), and exit. You'll exit like you did in Level 1--through the bars.
Whatever you do, just return to the rooster's grave. Go to the screen with the bones and warp down. Warp down when you're on the wall and you'll be on a locked door. Go down. Go left from this room and go down. Jump the pit and Warp left. Go left and go through the bottom door. You'll be in a dark room with a sun enemy in it. Go down and you'll be in L:3. Bomb the right wall where it's cracked (or hit a bombite into it) and go right. Bomb the wall where you just came from (It's not bombed on that side) and warp left. Go through the wall and defeat the enemies. Go down and you'll be in Level 4! Get the Flippers from the chest and exit.
If you need hearts, get to the room with the 3 bombites in it that you had to bomb the right wall. Go right 2 screens and defeat all of the enemies in that room for access to the south door. Warp down and You'll be in a room with an eye that pushes you away. Go down a screen (If you're stuck, reset) and you'll be in a room with five glinting tiles. Just go down, Ignoring everything and swim down to the bottom part of the screen. Warp left and go down the stairs. Go back up (don't go through the cave, just go up!) and go down. Get the chest for the Nightmare Key. Go up and right. Swim up and stand on the switch to open the door. Warp up and leap off the wall. Go down the stairs and through the cavern. This leads you to the bosses' room. Defeat the Angler Fish for a Heart and Save and Quit. This should take you to the entrance of the Rooster's Grave. If not, you'll have to erase your data, or E-mail me and I'll find an escape route for you.
Swim to level 5 and beat it normally, without getting the instrument. Skip Level 6 and 7, and go to the beach. Go to the bottom left corner of the map. From there, go a screen right and go up. Warp down and go down a screen. You'll be on Tal Tal Heights, at the warp hole by level 8. If you fall down, you should be at another warp hole. If you don't and keep falling, Save and Quit. After you've seen the Warp Hole, warp to it via another Warp Hole and go into Level 8. Beat it normally (no instrument!).
If you need an extra heart, exit by the way you came in (otherwise, you'll be on the turtle's head!) and return to Level 2's entrance. Use your Fire Rod on the flowers and enter. Beat it normally, and get the heart by defeating the Genie (2 hits with the fire rod!). Return to Level 8 after you're finished.
Go to the real entrance of the level (save and quit and you'll be there automatically) and go up a screen. Warp down and go through the door. Instead of exiting, you'll be in the room where you got the Power Bracelets before. Go right, down, and keep going right until you are at the drop off point to the final bosses in the wind fish's egg. Leap down and defeat the bosses and you've just accomplished the impossible! You just beat the game with no instruments, keys, ocarina, or trade items! Show it off to all of your friends! And yes-I was pretty bored to find all of this!
Also-so you know-All of the dungeon items (if you get them) will be lost forever, so only take chests or keys if you are absolutely sure you want to! A fun thing to do after you do the main code is to do the code below. |
