Woo-Hoo!  My best part of the site (second to the warping codes)!  Here are a few codes and tricks you can play with for DX!  If you have the original grey version, the codes with DX ONLY! next to them won't work with your game, but the rest will!    These codes have been proven to work.  If you'd like to submit a code, E-mail me at [email protected].
New Music- When you go to choose your character, choose an empty file and name it ZELDA (all caps).  The background music will be different.
Chicken Attack- Keep hitting a chicken with your sword and eventually, a whole flock will attack!
Stealing Items- If you want an item from the shop in Mabe Village for free, grab it and run around the manager.  If you make it to the exit when he's looking to the right or above, you'll get the item for free!  Watch out though, if you go back in, he'll kill you (even if you have the potion)!
Missiles-  If you want to shoot an exploding missile, just equip the bow and the bombs.  Press A and B together and a bomb on an arrow will fly out and blow up whatever it hits.
Save Rupees-  When you buy an item, you'll notice that the rupees are taken away not all at once, but slowly.  If you Save and Quit in the middle of the process (right after he says, "Thank you, come again!"), and when you resume, you will still have all of your rupees!
Talkative Marin- When Marin is following you, try doing some of the following-
-Dig the ground
-Break a pot
-Hit a chicken
-Go in a dungeon and come with all of your hearts almost gone
-Go into the trendy game
-Fall down the well
-Play the ocarina
-Break a LOT of pots
Double Angler Keys- If you manage to snatch the Angler Key just milliseconds before you fall down the hole, something should be seen falling down.  Go into the cave at your right and go left a screen and what's that?  A second Angler Key? (Only accomplished once so far...)
Destroy Zora- If you have the Magnifying Lens, enter a certain house in animal village to meet a Zora.  If you throw your boomerang at it, it'll explode!
Save Yourself From Game Overs-  If you time it right, you can save and Quit when you're about to spin around for a Game Over!  Doing so will save you from death.

Access Color Dungeon on B&W Gameboy-  If you save in the color dungeon on a Gameboy Color and put it into a regular, Black and White Gameboy, you can play in the color dungeon!

Roosterang- When you have the Flying Rooster following you, throw the boomerang and pick him up.  The boomerang will stay below you and defeat any enemy in it's path!
Trendy Game Trick- A good way to get the item you want in the trendy game is to push A until the crane's shadow is in the upper right corner and to tap B when the item you want is in the lower left.
Door To Nowhere- If you pull at a corner of the hedges in the Mysterious Woods, sometimes you will pick up a stone, leaving a graphic of a tunnel in it's place!
Boomerang Tricks- Try throwing the Boomerang at Pairodds.  If you hit them as they're teleporting, they'll be stunned in the middle of the teleportation, leaving them as stars!
Music Glitch- While working on my maps, I did have to listen to the music for every place as I map them out (or turn the music off, but I did that only when it got annoying...). I found a weird code thing in Richard's Villa! Listen to his theme 8-10 times and it plays a small piece of music from Mario Paint!
The song is from the title screen, when you press the 'O'. After the bomb blows up, you hear the tune! Pretty weird, huh?
Moldorm Trick-  Hello, my name is Rich Sima, and the first day I had Zelda Link's Awakening I found a major glitch. At first I couldn't do anything with it coz there is a lot of things turned into deep water, like castle walls and stuff like that. I haven't tried it on DX yet but it should work because you don't need the warp code! Here's what you will need:

1) Roc's Feather
2) Tail Cave Beaten
(so Moldorm won't be in your way)
3) Flippers
(you don't actually
need them but if you wanna go far in Glitch World
you'll wanna get them)

The way I found it was by mistake. Moldorm knocked me down a the hole and the rest is history. Enough talk! For this example I'll assume you have your Roc's Feather equipped on the 'B' button. Here's what ya do. First go into Tail Cave and go into the room where you fought Moldorm.  Then using your Roc's Feather jump into the hole in the top left corner and really quickly hold 'Up' and 'Left' on the D-Pad and press 'B' repeatedly. It may take a few tries but you should jump up a screen from where the skeletons are hanging. You'll hear the climbing steps sound effect and you'll be walking in the normally side scrolling area below Moldorm. And EVERYTHING is glitched, for example just look at the skeletons (!) that you're standing on, they're all messed up. A lot of the space surrounding you is water so swim through it and go down one screen and over to the left wall and ta-da! You're standing on the wall.  Now you can travel all through the caves and dungeons of Zelda. You can get the easy Lvl-2 Braclet and beat all the bosses(!), provided you can find them.

IMPORTANT -
Don't go up or down any steps or ladders or you'll leave Glitch World and be in the dungeon or cave that you were in in Glitch World!

Easy Final Boss- If you can't seem to kill Deathl with the Bow, hit it in the eye with the boomerang when it opens.  After a few hits, he'll be destroyed!
Unlimited Money- In the Color Dungeon, you can get unlimited money.  From the entrance, go up a screen and right a screen.  Hit the lower wall with your sword until you find a place that can be bombed open.  Bomb it, and go inside.  Grab all of the rupees, then exit the level.  Go back in, and the money will be there again!  Repeat as many times as necessary.

Armmimic Trick- When you're in a room with Armmimic, grab the wall and you can control them to go anywhere you want!  Use this in the Dream Shrine to clear all the Armmimics on the screen at once.  You can even make them walk into pits!

Get to L:8 without Mirror Shield- Firstly, buy a potion from Crazy Tracy.  Next, go to the screen where the flamethrower blocks your path to L:8.  Walk into it until your hearts run out, then step through as the potion takes effect.

L:5 Stalfos Key Trick- When you battle Master Stalfos in L:5, Stun it and then shoot missiles at it until it blows up.  A small key will fall.  You can get 3 extra keys this way!  NOTE - A Hookshot is left instead of a key on the fourth visit.
