From the exit of L:5, go back into the flooded cavern to exit the rock barrier. Swim to the right and get onto shore. Go to the Animal Village entrance. Go to the warp hole and warp to the Ukuku Prairie. Go elft and enter Mabe Village. Buy the Bow from the shop for 980 rupees (you should have enough by now). Go back and warp to Animal Village. Exit the village.
Go up 3 screens and to the right 2 screens. The owl will tell you to go the southern shrine first, so do so. Go right and lift the stones. Go right and down. You should see a bunch of statues. Go down and to the left. Push the statues out of your way by using the shield. Go left a screen and up a screen. If you go right a screen, one of the statues has a secret tunnel underneath it that holds a Secret Seashell. Going left will let you get to the key of L:6. Go left when you�re ready and go down. Go left a screen and around the statues. Go up a screen and enter the shrine. In the shrine, there will be a giant Armos Knight.
To defeat it, you can do one of two things�Kill it easily with the bow or killing it the hard way with the Whirling Blade Technique (unless you have the L:2 sword by now�you can just do a normal blow to kill it with the L:2 sword I believe). Jump when the knight crashes on the ground or you�ll be paralyzed for a short time. After hitting it a few times, it�ll lose its shield. Keep hitting it and it�ll lose its armor. After repeating your attack, it�ll explode giving you the key to L:6! Go up a screen and put Magic Powder into the torches. Read the stone on the wall to learn a strange riddle.
Exit the shrine and the owl will tell you more of the legend. Exit the southern shrine completely (down, right, up, down, right, right, up, up) and go left. Lift the stones and go left 3 screens. Go down a screen and hop into the water. Swim up and to the right 2 screens. Get on the island and either kill the knight by awakening him then using the bow or awaken him and wait in the water for him to drown himself. The third way is to simply hop over him to the stairs.
Swim across in the cave and hookshot across the chasm. Exit the tunnel and go northeast. Unlock the statue and the entrance to L:6 will pop out. Go around and enter the level. |
