From the exit of L:3, go right and hop across the islands to the mainland. Go right a screen and up a screen. Go right and bomb the weird statue. Go up and talk to Tarin. He�ll shake a honeycomb down for you if you give him your stick. Take it and go down and right. Go up a screen. There should be a telephone booth here. Go right a screen and down 2 screens. Go right a screen and cut the bush. Enter the staircase underneath. Dash through the crystals inside and exit. You�ll be on a part of Koholint. Go down 2 screens and go right. You�re now in the Animal Village!
Go right and down a screen. Enter the house and give the bear your honeycomb. He�ll give you a pineapple and tell you that Marin will wake the lazy walrus in front of the Yarna Desert (which holds the key to L:4). Go down and to the right to find a warp hole. Jump in and warp to the warp hole near Mabe Village. Go to Marin�s House and you�ll see a note that she�s on the beach. Before you go farther, exit the house and go up a screen, right a screen, and up a screen. Enter the shrine and jump into the bed. Get through the easy shrine (use the Whirling Blade Technique to kill the Armmimics) and dash through the crystals at the end. Open the chest above and you�ll get the ocarina! It plays a major role in the future. Exit the shrine and go back to Marin�s House. Go left 2 screens and down until the ground changes to sand. Go right until you get to Sale�s House of Bananas and go right 2 screens. Go down and approach Marin. Talk with her.
She�ll follow you after hinting that she has a crush on you ^_^. Go up and back to the warp hole by Mabe Village and warp back to the Animal Village. Go left a screen and up a screen from the warp hole to be back at the village. Go right a screen, down 2 screens and right a screen. When you near the walrus, Marin will sing to it. It�ll fall into the water and you can enter Yarna Desert. Marin will go back to the Animal Village. Enter the desert and go up until you encounter a Lanmola. Kill it by hitting the head with your sword and you�ll get the Angler�s Key! If the key falls down the sand pit, hop down and you can get it. If you fall during the battle, go right and exit the underground cave. Go left a screen and you can try again.
Once you get the key, go back down a screen from the moving sand and go the left path. Go down and the owl will tell you to go to the mountains and leap from the top. Go down a screen and hop off. Make your way back to the Animal Village, specifically the screen where Marin is now singing to the animals. Talk to her and she�ll teach you the �Ballad of the Wind Fish� on your ocarina. With that done, warp back to Mabe by the warp hole below.
From the Ukuku Prarie warp hole, go up and lift the rock. Go up a screen and jump across the pit. Go left and up 4 screens. Lift the rocks and go right until you get to a staircase going up. That�s the staircase to the Wind Fish�s Egg. You can go up and check it out, maybe even play a song that it may be familiar with. After your sight seeing, go right from Mt. Tamaranch (the WFE�s volcano) and there�ll be another staircase leading up. You�ll need this later, but for now, go right and lift the stone. Go right and down. Go right and up. There�s a weird cave here with fish carved above it. Go right and unlock the entrance of L:4. Go right a few screens to unlock another warp hole. Go back now to the screen with the staircase going up that you didn�t explore yet. Go up it and lift the stones. Enter the cave.
Hit the enemy into a pit and go right. Push the stones (being careful of the cracks in the floor) to make a passageway to the stairs across the room. If any Gels pop up, kill them or the lamps will continue to shoot fire at you. When you get to the stairs, go down (or up) them. You�ll see an inaccessible Heart Piece. Ignore it for now and go right. Exit the cave and get the chest for an easy 50 rupees. Reenter the cave and dash through the crystals. Exit the cave at the next screen.
