From the exit of L:1, go left. Listen to the owl�s message about going to the swamp. Go up, jump over the hole, and go left 2 screens. Go up and the children who were playing catch in Mabe Village will run down and tell you how Moblins came and dog-napped Bowwow, the �dog� Mme MeowMeow had staked outside her house. Go up into the forest and go to the screen with the Piece of Heart surrounded by pits. Jump over the pits and grab the Piece of Heart. Jump the other pits and go up. Go right and you�ll see an odd cave.
Enter the cave and a Moblin will say that he�s going to kill you. Kill the Moblin and go up. Kill the 4 Moblins here and the doors will open. Go right and defeat the Moblin King. How? Block the arrows it shoots with your shield until he bangs his chest and dashes at you. Step out of the way so he dashes into the wall. He�ll be stunned, so step in and hit him a few times with your sword. After about 7-8 hits, he�ll die and the way right will open. Go right and push against the stone to save Bowwow! Exit the cave now.
From the cave�s exit, go left a screen, down a screen, and left 2 screens. You�ll see a log entrance surrounded by stones. Go left and jump the pit. Go left a screen and up a screen. Go right 2 screens and you�ll be in Goponga Swamp. Using Bowwow to eat the flowers, go up a screen, right a screen, down a screen, and right a screen. Get the chest for some money, and go back left and up. Go right a screen and enter the cave. That�s L:2! |
