| A bright and chippy youth from the small town of Wutai, Yuffie was and still is hardly the type to sit back and watch as life passed her by. She is prone to be hyperactive and does things before thinking them through clearly. She can also give the impression that she is careless when it comes to relationships with friends and family, though that is far from the case, for when push comes to shove, she'd be at a friend's back in an instant. |

| Because of her small size and nible body, Yuffie excells at sneak attacks and robbing techniques. Her surefire aim with her bladed boomerang credits her as an unsurpassed distance fighter as well. She also has a knack for stealing key items from her assailents that she then turns around as uses as wepons against them. |
| Yuffie met up with everyone while out on her jounry to gather materia for her sparcly populated resort town of Wutai, determined that in doing so she could restore their history of being a brave warrior folk. Tempted by tll the delicious goodies in the hands of Cloud and his party, she at first came along only to rob them blind the moment their backs were turned, however that swiftly changed to loyalty after they rescured her from the bumbling, bride-searching Don Corneo. |
