Robert Madeley

Ida Madeley and her children

Robert and Ida Madeley had eight children.

In April 1916 Robert was called up to go to war from Shropshire. He went to France and in July he died in The Somme. He left behind his wife Ida and their eight children. The oldest child was 14 and the youngest was 1.

Robert Madeley was a hero during his life and a hero when he died.
