When Robert Madeley moved his family here it was like this.

During their time here in Leinterdine Robert and Ida has their eighth and last child in 1915.

The receipt book opposite shows the year as 191 where the last numeral would be the year in use filled in by pen.

1914, 1915, 1916 ... etc. 1917 would never be written.
