Inkberrow

When Robert Madeley was 22 and Ida Ellen Key was 24 they left Shrewsbury to travel to Inkberrow in  Worcestershire by train to marry.

They stayed with her parents at Radnall cottage where Ida was born, near the Old Toll Gate of Holberrow Green in Worcester.

Ida's father Edward Key was 70 and her mother Mary was 66 at the time.

Robert and Ida married at Inkberrow in the Parish Church of St Peter on 21 October 1901.

The church of St Peter lies partly hidden on a small hill surrounded by trees and hedgerows on the north-side of Inkberrow.
