Cruckmeole House

 

Cruckmeole House in the hamlet was the family home of the Water family who owned 732 acres of land in and around Cruckmeole.

The Water family have been associated with Cruckmeole since 1308 and even to this day are responsible for appointing the Rectors of Hanwood.

The Reverend E M Farley, Rector of Hanwood, lived in Cruckmeole House when Robert and his family moved to Cruckmeole. 

In 2006 Cruckmeole House changed hands for £1,125,000 and has Grade II listed protection. Now it is has become a function house.
