//..alright, this goes in descending order: newer news up top, and then older more embarrassing news from when we thought we were hot shit at the bottom..//

1.13.03- Mike Strand is continuing to play drums in Orlando, where he attends the University of Central Florida. Keep up to date on his activity at http://livejournal.com/~intherye. Chris Belt and Brett Walsh recently left Bear Country to due distance issues, but still support Bear Country by going to their website at http://www.angelfire.com/fl4/bearcountry. In the fall Chris will be attending University of Central Florida and Brett will be off to New York University. Hopefully, both of them will be involved with something musical soon.

7.23.02- Wow a year. I doubt anyone even reads this page any more. Well I'm going to come clean. This is whats happened. In May of 2001 we thought it would be funny to say that our next show was our last. And act like it was. And then after that we would have big "reunion" show. We pretty much worked that out to happen in the next month or so. Apparently, some took the idea more seriously. Chris joined Bear Country and other situations arose that kept us out of the game. However, regardless of Chris and Mike, I always believed and planned on Mitchell coming back once a new set had been written. The songs were slow coming on my part and around November, Bear Country asked me to help out on a song or two with my accordion. I played two shows and then a few months later I was asked back on a fulltime basis. So Chris and I were in Bear Country and Mike had been playing with a band called Waiting for Bruce Willis. Near the end of the school year, Chris, Mike and I all got back together and played again for the first time. Chris played the guitar and we had no bass player. We worked on a new song for about three practices with revolving bass players and a saxophonist, but now it seems everyone wants to do different things. Mike is moving to Orlando with the coming fall to attend UCF and Chris would like to take time off from being in a band, with the end of our terms in Bear Country. So thats pretty much it. I don't know if I'd say we're broken up but its pretty close. Chris would. Probably Mike too. Suck on it.
