    Angel
    Heartthrob
As Angel returns from his trip to Sri Lanka, where he dealt with his grief over the loss of Buffy, he finds the crew working as normal back home, and with Fred still hiding away in her room. When Cordelia gets a vision, its back to work they go.

Angel, Gunn and Wesley track down the vampires in Cordelia's vision, and the fighting begins. Angel takes out the lead female vampire, but then realises as her locket is broken off, that she was Elizabeth, a vampire he new many years ago.

    Angel

Angel tells the story of how he and Darla were being pursued by Holtz, and had met with two vampires, James and Elizabeth who were completely in love. When Holtz had caught up with James and Angelus, Angelus had betrayed them all to avoid torture, as he would expect of Darla.

Now Angel will have to deal with James's wrath, as this vampire is still alive, and finds out who killed his love from a surviving vampire. James goes to a Dr Gregson to have "the cure", something with a terrible price that he no longer cares about after losing Elizabeth.

Wesley and Gunn go to Cariatos to ask Merl about James, and they find out about this operation. They discover that it makes the vampire invincible, but only for a short time, and then the vampire is dust. Its too late to warn Angel though, as James goes to the hotel and finds Cordelia and Angel.

Staking and sunlight don't work, so Angel and Cordelia run, eventually ending up on a subway train. There Angel tells James about Buffy, slowing him down long enough so that eventually James gives up, and then his time ends, and he is dust.

After this, its back to regular business for the crew at Angel Investigations, but things are stirred up when we see Darla in a bar, far away from Los Angeles, pregnant.

There are two other interesting things to note in this episode. Firstly that when James accuses Angel of screwing Darla, Angel is instantly on the defensive - "What did you hear?" after his encounter with her in season 2, only afterwards realising James meant in the past, and not literally.

Secondly, in Cariatos, Gunn meets a old demon, possibly a codger demon. This seems to be the same old demon that he helps out in Double Or Nothing.

    Episode Rating: 9/10
Best Bit: Angel and crew take out several nasty vampires.
Worst Moment: This makes a dangerous enemy, James, try for revenge.
Funniest Part: Angelus tells Holtz everything to skip torture.
    Vampires Dusted:5
    Demon Disposal:10+
