But the main act of the show, the big "stars", are the Kookaburras. They are related to Kingfishers. They have a large head and beak, are definitely meat eaters (Marghe will tell you blood curtling stories), and are beloved throughout Australia. We had a few in Tannum Sands that hung out around our house. We have yet to attract them to our home in Coral Cove. We continue to try. | |
