There is no camping at Cania Dam but there is a very well equipped camping ground 3km from the dam. The family-run site is beautiful and is run by very friendly people, Madonna (often with Sophie on her hip), Harry and dad Jim. Situated on Three Moon Creek the Cania Gorge Tourist Park caters for camping and caravans and has powered sites, bunkhouses, self-contained cabins and "villas".
The nightly bird feedings by "Jim" are a "must see". There are also many kangaroos and Wallabies in the Park. These are a species of Kangaroo that was new to us. They are shy, but we felt an attraction to them.
This is just entering the park. The kiosk/office is to the left, and the swimming pool to the right.
This is the pool, with our 'villa' and Rav4 in the center background.
These are some views of that 'villa'. It was clean and had everything we could have wanted or expected from a Trailer Park. The tall picture to the right shows the beautiful gum trees that are everywhere in the Cania Gorge National Park and the Websters camp setup.
Marghe, the "villa" and our Rav4.

Ivan and Helen's camp to the left of the gum tree. Christian and Annalee's to the right.
