This website allows Loretta Lewis to share information she has discovered while researching her family heritage. With Over 20 years of research Loretta has collected boxes of photos, legal documents, stories, and traveled many miles throughout the U.S. She visited family members and searched in courthouses and archives for any information about the families on display here within this site. | Hello, I am Michael Chavez (Loretta's Brother).� I have built and maintained this site based upon a request from my daughter.� She was doing a project on California History and I told her that our family is California history. Well after getting the look of disbelief and the comments "There he goes again, just like Grandma "Ellie".� I decided to publish the facts that my sister Loretta has shared with me.� I was in disbelief myself until I found that our family was in all California History topics. We could probably write a history book just on our families. |
