Ben�s Mom Evarista Holquin, had 2 sisters and 2 brothers, one died when he was 16, we believe diabetes, as he died in Coma. He died in Albuquerque. Eva raised both sisters and brothers.
Eva�s brother, Celadon lived on 2nd street in Boyle Heights, next door. He had two sons.
Ben remembers him always smoking a pipe. They first lived in Gallop New Mexico before moving to Los Angeles
Alex was working in Albuquerque for Southern Pacific railroad as a welder.
They were living in Socorro NM. The weather was cold, and the Rio Grande used to over flow a lot. Father moved to Albuquerque as Alex got a job with the railroad. At the same time both sisters were living there. Downtown Centro, as Eva was taking care of the priests at the church, as a housekeeper.
She was the oldest, she was taking care of her sisters, her parents died when she 13 years old we believe. (Bens Sister recalls her being 15 years old)

Alex Chavez was a widower, his first wife died from the Flew Epidemic in 1918.

Alex�s real Sur name was Turietta; Ellie saw the birth certificate in Belin. His complete name is Alexander Pino Turrietta, Ellie found the birth certificate at the church. It is a small town and there is only one Church.
Alex Chavez first moved to Los Angeles to secure a job with Southern Pacific as a welder. Then Eva moved with her 3 sons and traveled by car from New Mexico to Los Angeles. The 3 eldest were born in New Mexico, (AL, Moe and Joe). Eva and Ben were both Born when they lived on Orm St.
Uncle Al was born about 1920.
