I had to walk to the voting place in our neighborhood this week. So, I took a camera with me to take pics of the trees changing color.

There was an eclipse of the moon this week. I didn't get any pics of the eclipse, cause well, the moon wasn't there to take pics of :). But, after the eclipse there was a brilliant full moon with a colored halo around it. It was amazing. I wasn't able to get a clear pic of the moon though, even though I tried many settings and a tripod. It was so bright that the image gets burned into a white spot instead of what we actually saw. This was taken around 1:30 AM.

This is Brother-Captain Ixion of the Grey Knights. My first attempt at painting up a Grey Knight figure. I like how it came out :). Although, the primer did go on kinda grainy, which is why the finish is not very smooth :(.

I finally started painting my Lord of the Rings miniatures. I started with the least important character in the Fellowship :), Pippin, as a test figure. Turned out pretty good. These figures are incredibly tiny and hard to paint, especially the hobbits. But, it's a lot of fun.

I hate bees. I found this one dead by one of the windows. I don't know how it got in the house or how it died. Probably couldn't find any food. I'm just glad it wasn't flying around. Man, do I hate bees :(.

Had a blast at DEXCON 7, a local sci-fi/fantasy gaming convention. Here's a pic of a game of Space Hulk that I played in. The game used 12"+ custom made macrotures. Awesome stuff :).

Here's another pic of last weeks Las Vegas trip. Walking down the Las Vegas Strip, I took a pic of the amazing New York, New York casino/hotel. Looks really amazing. But, kinda funny for a New Yorker :). I don't know why I even went into the gift shop with all the NYC souvenirs :).

Went to Las Vegas this week. Here's a night pic of the Las Vegas Strip. It's a bit blurry cause I didn't have a tripod and I didn't use a flash :(. A flash would have washed out the neon lights. This is Tigee, the oldest toy I own. I've had him from before I was born. He was a gift from my baby shower. I forget who exactly gave it to me. I used to drag him along everywhere, just like in Calvin and Hobbes. May knitted that blanket thing on him :). He's lost a lot of color and fur cause I would always put him the washing machine to clean him of dust cause of my allergies :(. I'm glad I still got him around :).

This is 4th Squad, Tactical of the Dark Angels. Finished painting them up this week. They are really old models, not the greatest design. They are the old Mk.VI "beaky" marines that Games Workshop put out in the early 80's. But, I had a lot of fun putting them together.

My sister wanted to practice using my Dad's old, manual, SLR camera. This is the camera I used back in college when I was taking my photography classes. We went over to the park in our development to shoot some landscape pics. I brought my digital camera. It had snowed during the night and it was very cold and overcast. When we got there, it started to drizzle some freezing rain :(. My sister saw a small gravesight nearby and went to go take some pics. I stayed away and just took pics of some dead trees. After playing the Fatal Frame games, I know better not to mix cameras and gravesights :). Didn't get any really good pics. We didn't stay long cause it was raining and freezing cold. Was really fun though. We'll probably go on another photo expedition sometime soon.

This is a picture of my sister's Orc miniatures and catapult she painted. Awesome stuff. The only things I did here were to finish off the bases and paint the catapult's counterweight. Ohh, and the four little goblin guys in the front row are mine. I had to throw them into the picture :). They are gonna be the catapults crew.

I got a gbaSKIN for my Game Boy Advance SP. It is a removable, vinyl sticker. Looks pretty cool. Though, I wish it was slightly smaller cause you can feel the stickers edge on the sides and it's kinda annoying. I just got it, so I'm not sure how durable it is. It's made by gbaMOD.

I bought one of the new Transformers: Alternators. This one is Smokescreen and he is a Subaru Impreza WRC. The new Alternators line is all going to be real life officially licensed cars with super detailing.

This is a can of Coca-Cola from asia :). My Aunt gave it to me. She got it when they were in Narita, Japan. The writing on the can says it was bottled in Thailand.
