Here are some Airsoft BB guns that I got in Florida. They fire plastic BB's and are generally safe with proper eye protection. In any case, I don't plan to shoot these at anyone. The first one is an FN P90 that you may have seen in the anime, Gunslinger Girl. I've also heard that it is featured on Stargate SG-1. The second one is a tricked out Mac-10 with a laser sight :).

Here's a pic of the view from the place we stayed at in Florida, Westgate Villas. Awesome place and very comfortable :). What I really liked was there was a family of ducks living at the nearby lake/pond. Got to see them every morning :).

Went to visit relatives in Florida for a week. Had a lot of fun. But, was also able to visit the graves of my Grandmother and two of my Uncles. It's been a long time since I had been there.

Grandma, please pray for our entire family. The entire clan needs help in some way or another. Please give us the strength to overcome our personal problems. The Family is falling apart without your guidance.

August 8-14, 2005

This week I heard a strange noise coming from the exhaust vent in one of the bathrooms in our house. It was a chirping sound!!! It turns out there was a baby bird that somehow got into the exhaust on the roof and found it's way through all the vent pipes to the bathroom on our first floor :(. We were able to rescue the bird from the vent and released him outside the house, under advisement from some animal rescue people we called on the phone. We named him Venton, cause we found him in the air vents :). We wish him well out there.

This is The Compleat Strategist. A very awesome gaming store and home to The NYC Warmonger Club. You can find a lot of RPG books, wargames, miniatures and CCG's. This store is a block away from The Empire State Building.

On Tuesday I went to an event at a GW store in NYC. They had an Ogre build and paint thing going on. You got to build and paint your own Ogre in the store for free :). But the thing is, your Ogre has to stay in the store till the end of February when the events are over. It's every Tuesday this month. Mine still has more work to do. So, I'll be back there next Tuesday to add more detail and highlights and to flock the base. I hear when enough people finish theirs that there will be Ogre Pit Fights, hehehehehhehehe :). We had to roll dice and use the Ogre Random Name Generator charts from the latest issue of White Dwarf. Mine got named Dorgut the Muddled "Gutbuster".
