December 29, 2003 - January 4, 2004

This is the HP PhotoSmart 245 printer I got. It only prints 4x6" prints. But, it doesn't need to be connected to a computer. It's really small, portable and handy to have around. I also found I can print graphics and stuff. Here I printed a pic of Mio and Mayu from the PS2 game Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly :).

On Tuesday we got some light flurries. But, then on Friday we had our first big snow storm of the season :). This pic is from early in the day around noon. There was still a lot more snow to fall :).

The trees are changing color for the fall. Here's a nice one. Unfortunately the days they started changing color, it started raining. So, not many of my pics came out well.

This is Grand Central Station. The lighting was very dim, so the picture came out kinda grainy. But, the orange lighting makes it the perfect picture for Halloween week.

This is a cool spot. The old New York Public Library. There is a park next to it and has lots of seating for relaxing and people watching.

This is a pic of a sculpture that looks like a black cube of sorts located at Astor Place in Greenwich Village. It's a popular hangout for skater punk kids. Avril Lavigne shot part of her documentary at this spot.

September 29 - October 5, 2003

It was sad to leave Florida. But I gotta say, getting off the plane at JFK/NYC, concrete paving everywhere, and trash and litter scattered on the ground, the sky overcast and grey and a chilly autumn breeze in the air. It was good to be home.

Spent the week in Florida. Remembered Nanay our Grandma in prayer and also attended our cousin Stefe's Sweet Sixteen Party. Cool party Stefe, I was impressed :).

JiffyPop :)!!! Some of you kids probably won't remember this stuff. It was an instant popcorn kinda thing from when I was a kid, before there were microwaves and home airpoppers. You use it over a stove at home. Apparently they still sell this stuff :).

Played a game of 40k against my cousin Ernest. It was my Dark Angels vs. his Emperor's Children. That's his Daemon Prince about to rip apart my Deathwing Terminators :(. The next pic is of all the critical 1's I rolled during the game :(.

Went with my sister and cousin Michael to a monster truck show over at Raceway Park, NJ. The coolest thing ever was seeing Robosaurus setting cars on fire and chomping on them :). Had an awesome time. Too many pics, but not enough webspace to show them all :(.

Went with my sister and cousin Michael to a famous cheese steak place in Philly. You had to order your cheese steak a specific way or else you had to go to the end of the line :). I made sure to memorize the procedure cause the line was very, very long :).

Went to the Eye of Terror Battle Tour Event at The Game Room Store at the Woodbridge Mall, NJ. It was too cool and I played in the megabattle. There were so many players and it was extremely crowded. But, it was definitely a lot of fun.

I went to William Gibson's Pattern Recognition booksigning tour. He's my all time favorite science fiction author. He was signing over at the Barnes&Noble over in Union Square, NYC. His novel is currently #6 on the NY Times Bestseller list. They didn't allow any pictures to be taken while on the stage. So, I had to take this pic from the audience.

I took the two Brooklyn Bridge pics from the July 15-21, 2002 entry and used Photoshop to combine them :). Took a really long time. Had to use the Smudge and Clone tool a lot.

These figures are for the game HeroClix, another Clix game. They come prepainted. So I didn't paint these figures. This is my team for a 200 point game. I call it the HydraForce :). It actually comes out to 195 points. It's got a Unique Redskull figure :).
