| My Lynda tells me there are two rarities in this picture, taken in the hiking region near the Nassfeld in southern Austria: me and the purple wulfenia flower. The wulfenia grows in only two places in the world, Nassfeld and the Himalayas. The hiking is quite good there, with easy day hikes and gradual ascents. One can comfortably wander across to Italy at the top of the mountain, and eat their lunch in another country. |
