| Lycomia is a band with a damn near indescribable sound, with hard hitting riffs out of guitarist TJ Mcdaniel and Drummer Dustin Grooms, smooth bass out of Andy Wheeling, and harmonic vocals out of singer Steven Sklenar. Coming out of the small town of Piketon, Ohio, the boys of Lycomia have an aggressive style of music that isn't quite metal, but with a certain undeniable edge to it that almost anyone can relate with. With sometimes cynical, sometimes self destructive, lyrics; they are a a branch off of the mainstream rock scene, which nowadays sounds almost the same every where you turn. The explosive progress of Lycomia, however, is largely due to their chemistry as a group. Bassist Andy Wheeling and Vocalist Steven sklenar have been playing together for years, as have Drummer Dustin Grooms and Guitarist TJ Mcdaniel, and when they came together everything just clicked. Lycomia is a band with a lot of talent and they look to progress a lot with a little more time. |
