Dustin: Well, I was born on March 4,1989, and have been playing drums for over half my life. I started playing when I was seven, when I got my first drum set for Christmas, and just kinda picked it up right away. When I first started I was into stuff like Third Eye Blind, Nickelback, Fuel, and Metallica; but now Im into death and black metal. Mostly European bands. Before Lycomia I was in a band with our Guitarist TJ Mcdaniel called Dryrot; it was a lot heavier and more agressive. TJ and I have been playing together for about a year. Dryrot got put on hold when TJ joined Lycomia, and when they asked me to join I said yes. That was in September I think...
WM: You mentioned you were into death and black metal, any favorite bands?
Dustin: Yeah, about five or six. Immortal, Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Slayer, Death, Deicide.
WM: Great. So whats your favorite equipment to play on?
Dustin: I knew you were going to ask me this... a 5 piece Ludwig Power Accent, Paiste and Zilidijan cymbals, Ludwig, CB, and Pearl stands, and Pacific pedals.
