W.M: So, T.J, tell us a little about yourself.
T.J: I was born in Portsmouth, Ohio,on Febuary 8th, 1988. I had a good childhood untill I was about eight, and then my parents got divorced. I bounced around living between them, and during all that bullshit is when is when I saw my uncle playing guitar for the first time. As I watched him I said to myself, "Thats fucking awesome...". So I conned him into letting me borrow his Gibson Lespaul and an amp and I learned how to play guitar. When I was in 8th grade I started talking about starting a band with some of my friends, and then it finally happened when Dustin Grooms and I started a metal band Called Dryrot. We never got around to playing a show though, because we couldn't find a bassist. Then I heard that a friend of mine, Steven Sklenar, was staring a band called Speculum with another friend of ours, Andy Wheeling. I joined in after about a week of my freshman year. We later changed the name Speculum to Lycomia, after Dustin joined.
WM: So how long have you been playing?
T.J.: Going on six years.
WM: Whats your favorite equipment to play on?
T.J.: My favorite guitar would have to be the master of all axes, the B.C. Rich Warlock, But I do like a lot of other guitars, like: Paul Reed Smith, Washburn, Gibson, Ibanez, and Jackson. Mt favorite amp is Marshall.
WM: Who's your favorite band out there right now?
T.J: I like a lot of different types of music, but I would have to say my favorite band is Marilyn Manson, something about them just gets to me.
WM: What's the best show you've ever been too?
T.J.: The best show I ever went to was a Cradle Of Filth show in Cincinati, they played with Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall, It was fucking badass! The best fucking show of my life.
WM: Real fast, who's your favorite icon out there?
T.J: My biggest idol would have to be Kerry King from Slayer, he's just the fucking shit.
WM: Anything else?
