Lithuanian Consultative Centre for Women
The main project of Lithuanian Women´s Society - Lithuanian Consultative Centre for Women - was started in Vilnius and then spread all over Lithuania. It is the common project of Lithuanian Women´s Society and the German Heinrich-Böll Foundation. It was started in 1993.
At the moment, LCCV is looking for partners and financing for its activities. The work is voluntary.
Lithuanian Consultative Centre for Women is the centre of teaching, informing
and consulting for women and girls.
Specialists in various spheres are ready to help - psychologists, teachers,
doctors, lawyers, sexologists, etc.
We form groups of psychological help, courses for studying foreign languages,
self-massage, handicrafts, sewing etc.
We hold seminars, lectures and meetings with various specialists according
to interests of our women.
We collect books for women in the library of our Consultative Centre.
We receive them not only from Lithuania, but also from different countries
in the world, from European Council and European Parliament. In the constantly
working reading-room women can read the newest magazines and newspapers
and make copies of the articles they need.
