| Classes Parent/Baby Sign Language Classes We focus on pre-verbal communication through fun activities, stories and songs (classes are ideally structured for babies (NB to crawling), however toddlers are welcome too) January 28 - March 4, 2009 (wednesdays ~ 9:45 - 10:45am) registration closed April 22 - May 27, 2009 (Wednesdays ~ 9:45 - 10:45am) to register: contact the Wellness Institute: 632-3900 April 23 - May 28, 2009 (Thursday evenings - 6:30pm - 7:30pm) location: Stony Mountain School to register, contact the Interlake Continuing Education Coordinator - Jocelyn at 467-2956 Preschool Sign & Sing ASL classes (your 2-4 year-old will develop language, literacy, creativie, social and coordination skills by learning signs with songs (dancing) stories and rhymes. | Investment for weekly classes: $100/parent & child (fee may differ in locations outside of Winnipeg) *included in the price is a booklet full of signs and information, a fridge magnet of reminder signs, a free 3-day trial of ASL software, a laminated place mat with your childs name on it, and a certificate from Sign & Say...as well as a little perks along the way... You will also have the opportunity to purchase extras; such as books and videos! |
