| Free- Presentations (children welcome to attend) 45-minute information session. Issues related to signing with hearing children and early language aquisition will be discussed. At the end of the presentation, you will be taught 1 song, and 10 basic signs. No certificates for presentations. |
| Workshops (minimum 10 in attendance) one-day 2-hour day of learning and fun (please specify if the target audience is children or adults only). Workshops include a presentation on the benefits of signing with babies and children, as well as discussion on early language development. You will learn approx. 50 signs, and when and how to introduce then. Although I sell some basic products, included in your fee is a booklet full of information and signs. You will also receive a list of material that is ASL-approved so you can buy the supplies you need for your centre. I will also provide you with local resouces from Deaf Instructors if you wish to learn ASL as a second language. Workshop sign choices are taken from a variety of topics such as Food signs ~ Bath and Body ~ Bed time signs ~ Safety signs ~ Animal signs ~ Colours ~ Emotions ~ Family relations ~ Activity and Play signs ~ clothing and dressing ~ Nature and Weather ~ Agression Intervention We sign/sing songs and sign stories to help reinforce the signs shown. You also have the opportunity to request signs. Investment: ~I offer workshops for both the general public, and private custom workshops for daycares, schools, parent groups or even just a group of friends. = fee $25/participant (minimum 5 in attendance) *in some cases, the fee is $30/participant (higher facility fees and/or travel expenses) ~ Included in the workshop fee: Each participant will recieve a material package containing related information and signs. A certificate by Sign & Say is given to the hosting group. *Individual workshop certificates are given upon request Books and videos are also for sale! |

| Certificates A certificate is given to the hosting group (daycare, school, etc.). Individual workshop certificates can be given upon request. Certificates are given to all babies in our Mom and Baby classes...so leave room in those baby albums!!! |
