I'm a proud melee Paladin!This Paladin, OhDali, is the first realm (useast) Paladin that I created. He was created in the early fall of 2000 and through many months of playing he finally attained the level of 80. OhDali is a melee Paladin with slvl 23 Charge/Concentration as a primary attack. Zeal (slvl 7) is also a primary attack as it works well for close-quarter battles. As a secondary attack he uses Conversion(13)/Thorns(15) but he also uses Holy Freeze and Fanaticism quite a bit. Melee Paladins require multiple attacks to make them as powerful as possible and prepare them for the many varied battle situtations. It is easily the best balanced class in D2 IMO. It has been a difficult and at times frustrating achievement. OhDali is my second pally. The first was a single player/open char that I made many mistakes with and was of very little use in large multiplayer games. So he never made it past clvl 67. After spending the summer of '00 on my single player pally I thought that I'd learned enough to create a new pally and avoid all the many mistakes that I made with the first one.... I was wrong! I still made plenty of mistakes with OhDali (just not as many). All in all.. he came out pretty good and he's a very powerful Paladin, but hindsight being 20/20 there are many changes I would make to him if I could. Maybe I'll get it right with my 3rd Paladin. These pages are just to show off the equipment and stats of OhDali. My friends at the Forge might be interested (or maybe not) :smile:. But indulge me. LOL The site is made up of four main pages including this 'Home' page. The Armament page has pictures and descriptions of all the equipment that OhDali wears. There are some good items there and well worth a look. The Weapon and Jewelry page has pictures and descriptions of OhDali's weapon and jewelry.. DUH! Including some of the secondary jewelry that he wears. The Rare Collection area is made up of several pages and has it's own navigation system. There are many stat pics of some of the best rares that I've found on realms. Some very nice stuff here. Please note that there is a separate navigation system for the Jewelry pages because of the amount of Jewelry listed.  |
