Here is the standard Zaku II. The Zaku II is basically a simple repaint of the Char's Zaku II chogokin toy. As collectors of Gundam model kits know, Bandai is very capable of releasing a simple repaint as a new figure. But this is acceptable in this instance as in the original anime the Char's Zaku II and the standard Zaku II are almost identical except for a few exceptions.
The standard Zaku II is the same figure as Char's Zaku II with the exception of the antenna on the top of Char's Zaku II. As you can see the other noticeable difference is the Zaku II's green color versus the red color of Char's Zaku II.
The Zaku II also comes with all the same accessories as Char's Zaku II except for the diecast Char Aznable. But fear not as Bandai always gives us little extras. With the Zaku II you get a small plastic Dom Fighter ship. Check the pics of the Dom further down.
Collectors always ask me if it's worth buying the two Zakus since they are essentially the same toy. Well here is what I think. If you are a diehard Gundam fan then you already know the answer, of course you will be getting both. If you are a slightly interested fan then I would suggest you purchase just one. Which one? Its up to you.
