imgscan: Image scanning and analysis tools
imgscan is a collection of 2D and 3D image scanning and data analysis
tools. It comprises:
- Software for 2D and 3D image scanning and retrieval of
suspicious nodules.
- Generalized scan statistic detectability evaluation [1,2].
- Model based Monte Carlo code for uncertainties evaluation.
- Nonparametric ROC and LROC analysis [3].
This tool package is part of an ongoing project for developing a set
of efficient and practical task based image quality evaluation
procedures, the task being the detection of small signals at unknown
locations in images.
